Family Planning

Any woman of childbearing age is eligible to receive Family Planning Services. Clients who desire services are charged according to a sliding scale fee based on their income and family size. Medicaid is billed for eligible recipients including clients who quality for the Medicaid Waiver. Women of any age who are below 100% of the Federal poverty guidelines, and are not eligible for Medicaid, are not charged for family planning services.

Services are provided solely on a voluntary basis, without regard to religion, race, color, national origin, creed, handicap, sex, number of pregnancies, national status, age or contraceptive preference. Clinics are conducted on an appointment basis in order to decrease client waiting time.

Family Support Services

A limited number of Family Support Services are offered to address medical risk factors that interfere with a patient’s ability to maintain an optimal state of health.  The services support primary medical care and are directed toward the maintenance, improvement, or protection of health or toward the diagnosis and treatment of illness or disability.  For information contact us at 843-812-6576.

Immunizations

We offer vaccinations for Flu, Tetanus Diptheria (Td), Tetanus Diptheria Pertussis (Tdap), and pneumonia through our Adult Health Immunization program at our public health clinic in each county. Other adult vaccinations are available through our Fee for Service program. We also provide routine childhood immunizations. You can get vaccinations at our locations, or through your family physician.

Clients who desire services are charged according to a sliding scale fee based on their income and family size, Services are NOT denied to any person due to an inability to pay.

WIC

WIC is a special supplemental food program offered to low income, pregnant, post partum, and breastfeeding women, infants and children under the age of five who are identified to be at nutritional risk because of inadequate health care or nutrition or both.
