Signs That Your Baby May be Sick
Call your baby's nurse or doctor if you think your baby is sick.
- Fussing or crying that lasts.
- Changes in eating or sleeping.
- Changes in skin color or temperature.
- Throwing up or diarrhea (more than six times a day).
- Blood in urine or bowel movement (urine may appear brown; stools may appear black).
- A rash that does not go away.
- A runny nose, coughing or hoarse crying.
- Pulling at the ears.
- Problems breathing.
- Blood or liquid draining from the ear (go to the doctor right away).
