SC Federal Materials Review Process

The South Carolina Federal Materials Review Committee (FMRC) is required to review all materials supported by CDC HIV prevention funds. Such requirements are explained in Content of AIDS-Related Written Materials, Pictorials, Audiovisuals, Questionnaires, Survey Instruments, and Educational Sessions, published in the Federal Register June 15, 1992. Failure to comply with these terms can result in restrictions or disallowance of funds related to the use of the unapproved materials and related staff activities.
