Use of the
South Carolina Environmental Excellence Logo

The South Carolina Environmental Excellence Program (SCEEP) logo is available to facilities that participate in the SCEEP and are members in good standing. They have the right to use the logo with in the limits of these guidelines.

The logo will be provided to members, upon request, in a format that is acceptable to both parties. The logo may be reproduced in one color (black) or in its original two colors. If a member wishes to use the logo in alternate colors they may submit a request and a draft of the logo to the SCEEP program coordinator. The coordinator will decide such requests, or defer to the advisory committee, on a case by case basis. Logo format and proportions must not be altered.

Logo guidelines for South Carolina Environmental Excellence Program member organizations:

a. Members are encouraged to use the logo and to display their certi.cates.

b. The logo may be used in marketing and promotional campaigns including, but not limited to letterhead, vehicles, business cards, packaging, and postage meters.

c. The logo may be used in print advertisements, articles, posters, and brochures. Should text accompany the logo, credit should be given to SCEEP and whenever possible, the sponsoring organizations. If space permits a contact number for the program should also be included.

d. Members are requested to provide the SCEEP program coordinator copies of materials for which the logo is used. All new uses of the logo must be approved by the coordinator prior to printing.

e. If unable to use the logo the SCEEP encourages member companies to use statements such as:

“Company X is a member of the South Carolina Environmental Excellence Program.”

“Company X has been a member of the South Carolina Environmental Excellence Program since 1998.”

f. Any questions about use of the logo not addressed in these guidelines should be directed to the SCEEP program coordinator for clari.cation.

g. If a company is no longer a member of the South Carolina Environmental Excellence program it may no longer use the logo or text about the program in any form.
