DHEC’s Beaufort County Public Health sets flu clinic for Low Country residents
BEAUFORT – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Region 8 Public Health, which serves Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties, will hold an appointment-only influenza vaccination clinic on Oct. 24 in Beaufort County.
Residents who want to reduce their risk of flu should call for an appointment. Clinics will be conducted by appointment to reduce the likelihood of waiting.
- The first DHEC flu shot clinic for the Beaufort area will be held:

9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

- There is a $25 charge for the vaccination, which Medicare Part B and Medicaid will cover for those who are eligible. Cash or check payment also will be accepted.
