DHEC’s Region 8 Public Health sets flu clinic for Low Country residents
VARNVILLE – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Region 8 Public Health will hold an appointment-only influenza vaccination clinic on Nov. 20.
Residents who want to reduce their risk of flu should call for an appointment. Clinics will be conducted by appointment to reduce the likelihood of waiting.
- The first DHEC Region 8 flu shot clinic for the Hampton/Varnville area will be held:
Nov. 20, 2006
8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
DHEC’s Hampton County Public Health Department, 501 Carolina Avenue W., Varnville - To make an appointment for this clinic:
Call (803) 943-3878 beginning Oct. 31 after 9 a.m.

- There is a $25 charge for the vaccination, which Medicare Part B and Medicaid will cover for those who are eligible. Cash or check payment also will be accepted.
