DHEC’s Region 8 Public Health sets flu clinic for Low Country residents
BLUFFTON – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Region 8 Public Health will hold an appointment-only influenza vaccination clinic on Nov 17.
Residents who want to reduce their risk of flu should call for an appointment. Clinics will be conducted by appointment to reduce the likelihood of waiting.
- The second DHEC Region 8 flu shot clinic for southern Beaufort County will be held:
Nov. 17, 2006
8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The science & technology building at USC Beaufort’s South Campus on Hwy 278, just west of Sun City in Bluffton - To make an appointment for this clinic:
Call (843) 757-2251 or e-mail FLU5@dhec.sc.gov beginning Oct. 30 after 9 a.m.
Do NOT call USCB for an appointment.

- Please include that residents should not call USCB to make appointments
- There is a $25 charge for the vaccination, which Medicare Part B and Medicaid will cover for those who are eligible. Cash or check payment also will be accepted.
