DHEC’s Region 8 Public Health sets flu clinic for Low Country residents
RIDGELAND – The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Region 8 Public Health will hold an appointment-only influenza vaccination clinic on Oct. 28.
Residents who want to reduce their risk of flu should call for an appointment. Clinics will be conducted by appointment to reduce the likelihood of waiting.
- The DHEC Region 8 flu shot clinic for the Ridgeland area will be held:
Oct. 28, 2006 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Palmetto Electric Ridgeland Office
4063 Gray’s Hwy; approx. 2 ½ miles north of Ridgeland on Hwy 278 - To make an appointment for this clinic:
Call (843) 726-7788 or (843) 726-7789 beginning Oct. 12 after 9 a.m.
Do NOT call Palmetto Electric for an appointment.

- Please include that residents should not call Palmetto Electric to make appointments
- There is a $25 charge for the vaccination, which Medicare Part B and Medicaid will cover for those who are eligible. Cash or check payment also will be accepted.
