Appointments necessary for health department services in Lake City
LAKE CITY – General clinic services at DHEC’s Lake City Public Health Department will be by appointment beginning September 18, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control announced today.
“This will enable us to serve our clients in a more efficient manner,” said Kelly Eaddy, public health clinic manger for Lake City. “Appointments decrease our clients’ waiting time and help staff allot ample time for each client’s needs.”
General clinic services include immunizations, tuberculosis skin tests, pregnancy tests and family planning supply distribution. Until September 18, residents can receive general clinic services on a walk-in basis.
